I’m not sure I get it.
Look, I’m thrilled that people are now seeing the cracks in Trumps value system. There are many days I’ve felt powerless and my words useless against the veil over their eyes.
I’m grateful.
I’m rejoicing.
Really!
I’m also scratching my head.
The potential turning point seems to have been when the President said disparaging things about the Pope.
I agree. The administration’s criticism, and second guessing of the Pope’s morals, are ignorant at best.
But what I’m trying to understand is why this was the breaking point.
Trump has used the most vile, hateful, cruel language to so many people. The name calling, the nasty nicknames, the bullying.
Why is it ok to behave in that way to everyone else?
Are we not all beloved children of god?
You, the journalists, the immigrants, the people on his enemy list, transgender athletes - You have and always will be worthy of the same level of respect.
